Sport Horses

One of my main focuses is bodywork therapy for sport horses. These athletes need it both as help achieving proper biomechanics and enhancing their performance ability. Other times when they need help is during rehabilitation post injury. I like to combine both Tami Elkayam's Tensegrity Balancing Therapy with John Barnes' Myofascial Release therapy in one session depending on what the horses need.

Horses of all disciplines can benefit.

"Mascha does amazing work.  I tend to be somewhat skeptical of new therapies. But my horse made it clear that he loved his treatment and Mascha helped keep Wicklow in top shape. "

Mia and Wick (Fernhill Royal)  are an Advanced/Intermediate Three Day Eventing pair who I have had the pleasure of working with.

As an endurance rider who loves longer distances, I have had the great fortune of having Mascha on my team. Equine athletes who compete in 75 or 100 mile rides benefit from injury prevention and maintenance bodywork. My best 100 miler is quite talented but also has some unique physical challenges. Mascha has done routine bodywork on him, and several times has been on hand through a 100 mile race, to treat him before, during and after as needed. In 2021, she accompanied us to the AERC National Championship in Montana and was a critical part of his finishing 6 th in the 100 mile competition.  If she is available she will always be part of my team!

Sudi is a very accomplished Endurance Rider with 20 100 Mile ride completions and her horse Traveller (A Long Way to El Paso) has 10 100 mile completions.
